Childhood encephalitis hospitalizations associated with virus agents in medium-endemic states in India

The data represents surveillance of 140 childhood AES cases over two years period from 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2016 to determine trends and virus etiologies in central India. AES cases from the districts having medium-endemicity for JE from Eastern Maharashtra and Northern Telangana were included.
